Every summer, my brothers and I make space in our schedules for a guys-only fishing trip.

All of us have our own families and careers now, in different parts of the country, and it's the one part of the year we brothers actually get to hang out, without the wives and kids. We'd spend the day on the water, getting drunk on cheap beer, playing poker and catching up.

At night, we honor another family tradition. The loser of our poker game earlier in the day pops an X-Change, and we all spend some additional quality family time together.

I've never not lost that poker game. What can I say? I suck at poker.
